My First Wedding + Bride's Review

The first wedding I’ve photographed, and the first of many, God willing. No second shooter. No second shooting experience. Just me with my significant other by my side for assistance & support.

All I’ve asked for is a chance, and this is what I’ve been able to do with one.

Kenny was recommended to us for our wedding by a really good friend-who was also my maid of honor-who used him for family photos previously. After reaching out to him, he was quick to respond, and we set up a day for us to get together and discuss what we were looking for.

I
will be honest here-we took a chance with Kenny, because even though he came with high recommendations this would be his first solo wedding. Let’s face it, how do you remember your wedding years from now? Photos, so believe me when I say I wanted to make sure I made the perfect choice. I wanted a photographer who would show up on time, who would listen to what we wanted but also be creative, who would be easy to work with, and most importantly a photographer who would capture the day our lives became one.

While there was some doubt the first time, we met Kenny and his team, that was soon gone. Kenny and his team delivered on every aspect that I mentioned above and them some! Kenny and his team were with us for the rehearsal-which according to our venue was very unheard of but mentioned how impressed they were to see the photography team there. Kenny was available when I needed to chat about something I saw and wanted to incorporate. He kept us updated along the way with changes to the timeline, ensuring we agreed with what he had. We had meetings throughout of course of planning the wedding. The day of the wedding came, and Kenny and his team were phenomenal; getting every shot we had asked for and then more. Towards the end of the night, I was tired and thought we did not need to go and take the last couple photos, but Kenny gently encouraged us, and I am so happy he did. All the pictures came out beautifully, especially those last ones. We received such good feedback from anyone who saw our photos. We both loved the photos and the experience we shared with Kenny was nothing short of perfect! I am so happy we chose him and his team.

I highly recommend Kenny Miller Photography!

Thank you…

Tamara & Zachery, for taking a chance… and giving your trust… and being great.

Audrey, Charlie, the entire bridal party, for being super chill, supportive of Tam & Zac, and tending to umbrellas and Tam’s dress!

The entire family, for making my job easy. Extra thanks to the parents; especially Zac’s mom for the encouragement and Tam’s mom for putting in work with the dress!

Farmer Ed, Diane, Lorry, Kevin, Heather, Christian, George and the rest of the Peacock Road Family Farm staff & animals, for being great people (and animal people) and a breeze to work with, giving Tam & Zac a beautiful place to make history, and allowing me to use your place as my creative playground.

Emily Sleight & HairByEricaLea, for taking good care of our bride & bridesmaids before I did my thing. Nice work. Hope to see you in the field again.

Sheena, for being there every step of the way.

Ryan (GAUPERPhoto), for welcoming me to shadow you & learn from you while you made magic for Lori & Brian’s wedding. One day, I want to be 16 years in like you.
